There’s a fight currently going on 24/7. You can’t watch it on your TV’s sport channels or at any arena. This fight is being fought in thousands of homes around Australia. Perhaps in your neighbour’s house, or even in yours!  Up to now, it’s been one-sided, but, at last, there is HOPE for the underdog --- the Punchin' Parko's Exercise Program (PPEP) --- a program that helps PwP conquer their debilitating symptoms.

In one corner of the ring, stands the current, undefeated and most hated champion in the world --- Parkinson’s  Disease (PD).  The hopeful contenders, the Punchin’ Parkos (PPs), stand in the opposite corner knowing that they cannot win the war (not yet) but can, and will, win many battles in the coming years. 

It is imperative that we win the war! We need your help! 

Punchin' Parkos are putting their weight behind Parkinson's NSW to raise funds for research into this insidious disease. Whilst over 80,000 people have been diagnosed with PD in Australia, the diagnosis really affects over 700,000 people. PD is second to Alzheimer's Disease in prevelance of degenerative brain diseases.

There is no cure for PD yet. There are no specific tests to diagnose PD. Your important contribution allows for  more research into the cause and possibly prevention of PD in future generations.
