The Box Family walk for Parkinson's

Story

Dear Friends,

 

As you may or may not know, I was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's disease in 2013.

It has somewhat been a rollercoaster, with ups and downs, but for those who know me, I do not give up easy!

Thanks to the support of my beautiful family and some amazing friends, I am strong and determined to not let this disease get (too much of) the best of me!

 

So the boys and I have decided to all take part in the 2016 Unity Walk and Run to help raise funds and awareness for Parkinson's NSW.

I am proud to be a part of this amazing event and ask for your help to help me raise funds for people with Parkinson's.

Parkinson’s NSW is a for-purpose organisation striving to make life better for people living with Parkinson’s, their carers, families and communities. It is the peak body for the Parkinson’s community of NSW.
 
It provides essential services including counselling, Support Groups, an InfoLine staffed by Parkinson’s Registered Nurses, community-based Parkinson’s Specialist Nurses, education, NDIS advocacy and fundraising for research. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life of people affected by Parkinson’s, while working towards a cure.
